Q: When do I have to place my order to ensure it is delivered by December 25th?
A: To ensure delivery by December 25th, you must order by Sunday, December 13th.
Q: Where can I find baking instructions?
A: Baking instructions can be found in the note card that accompanies each jar. Additionally, baking instructions for each flavor blend are located on that blend's product page on our website. For additional baking tips, check out the "baking tips" section of our site.
Q: Why is my brown sugar as hard as a rock!?
A: If your brown sugar layer has hardened, have no fear! This is natural. Brown sugar has a high moisture content, and the other ingredients in your jar tend to "steal" its moisture, which makes it hard. We do not add any preservatives to prevent this from happening because, frankly, preservatives are icky. To soften your brown sugar, open your jar and dump out your yummy top layer- everything above the brown sugar layer. Then, (with the metal lid off) warm the jar in the microwave for 30 seconds. Use the handle of a wooden or plastic spoon to break up the brown sugar in the jar. Don't use any metal instruments, as they may cause the jar to crack or shatter!
Q: How long will it take to receive my jar blend once I place my order?
A: Processing and shipping depends on the quantity of your order and your shipping location. Because each mix is hand-made to order, please allow up to three days to process your order, and up to five business days for shipping. We use USPS as our carrier for standard shipping. You will receive a shipment notification email with a tracking number once your order is shipped. If you need your order sooner, please email email@example.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs! Note- custom shipping rates will apply.
Q: Can you accommodate custom or large orders?
A: We welcome custom and large orders! Our jars make the perfect gift or favor for weddings, showers, birthdays, holidays, teachers gifts, hostess gifts, and much more. Cookie Jar tags can also be customized with your business logo or personalized message. For custom or large orders, please submit a "contact us" form on our site with the details. We'll get back to you promptly and do our best to create an order that suits your needs. Please note that pricing, processing time, shipping time and shipping costs vary based on order.
Q: Do you offer gift packaging?
A: Yes! At checkout, just check the box that says "for $2 per item, please gift wrap all items in this order."
Q: Is there an allergy warning?
A: Yes, please make sure you read each product page on our site as well as on the baking instructions card included in your order for our allergy warning. Curious Cookie Company Blends are prepared in a kitchen where products containing wheat, gluten, soy, milk, nuts and peanuts and tree nuts are produced. In addition to their labeled ingredients, each blend may contain trace amounts of gluten, soy, milk, peanuts or tree nuts (almonds, macadamia, brazil nuts, coconut, pecans, walnuts, cashews and pistachios.) Additionally, some of the suppliers of our ingredients also carry this warning: "Repacked in a facility that also processes products containing: peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, egg, fish, crustaceans shellfish and wheat ingredients."
Q: What is the shelf life of my jar blend?
A: We recommend to enjoy your jar blend 6 months from your purchase date. However, we highly doubt you'll be able to wait that long!
Q: What if I am not satisfied with my purchase?
A: If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please use the "contact us" form on our website to let us know, or email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will grant you a full refund or re-send you a jar to your liking.
